Hi folks.
We needed the following information from you. Please reply the respective SR members-in-charge.
FOOD
If you are vegetarian or on any special diets, please let both Chris and Vim know via email by 15 September 2010. We can pre-arrange the food with Nongsa based on your preference.
Note: Food served at Turi Beach is Halal Certified.
VISA
For those who need to apply for visa (under category 2), pls let both Chris and Vim know via email by 15 September 2010. We have been advised by Nongsa to do a group check-in to take advantage of the lower visa fee at the seaport in Batam, Indonesia. (if not, the VISA fee is at USD25)
* What you need to do on 22 Oct ? *
- Please pay USD10 or SGD equivalent at the Immigration Counter in Batam first.
- Please retain your receipt and pass it to Chris for reimbursement. (Chris will raise a Staff GIRO PRF on your behalf & will be credited to your bank account)
Sergei, Mon Oo and Swe Swe Min are the only one who are under category 3, so they need to apply visa personally at the Indonesian Embassy. (Please pass the reciept to Chris for reimbursement)
All passports should have a minimum of 6 months’ validity from the expiry date, to enter Indonesia.
Category 1) No Visa Required
Foreigners holding travel documents issued by the following countries are granted entry to Indonesia without visa
Brunei Darussalam, Macau, Peru, Thailand
Chile, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam
Hong Kong, SAR Morocco, Singapore
Category 2) Visa on Arrival
The government of Indonesia has imposed a "Visa on Arrival" (VOA) Policy for 64 countries with effect from January 2010.
Foreigners holding travel documents issued by the following countries may apply a VOA to enter Indonesia:
Al Jazair / Algeria, Fiji, Liechtenstein, Russia
Argentina, Finland ,Lithuania ,Saudi Arabia
Australia, France, Luxembourg, Slovakia
Austria, Germany, Maldives, Slovenia
Bahrain, Greece, Malta, South Africa
Belgium, Hungary, Mexico, South Korea
Brazil, Iceland, Monaco, Spain
Bulgaria, India, Netherlands, Suriname
Cambodia, Iran, New Zealand, Sweden
Canada, Ireland, Norway, Switzerland
Czech Republic, Italy, Oman, Taiwan

Updates on TURI BEACH Reccee Trip !

Our Reccee team consisting of Edna, Vincent and myself visited Turi Beach, with Sales and Marketing Director, Zainal to bring us around the Resort.
We were welcomed by the friendly staff at Turi and felt immensely refreshed by the cold towels & rejuvenating home-made ginger honey drinks upon our arrival !
